As the digital becomes omnipresent this weekend workshop offers a hands-on crash course in Adobe After Effects. An industry standard software that enables you to create motion graphics and visual effects for film, tv, video and the web.
Ideal for photographic professionals, graphic designers, film makers video editors, content creators and even visual artists interested in exploring the world of mixed-media motion design.
Basic to intermediate computer competency is expected, proficiency in other Adobe Software is helpful but not essential.
Course content includes:
- How to set up files correctly
- Basic software trouble shooting
- Navigating the interface
- Composition Creation
- Preparing designs in Illustrator/ PS or Procreate
- Importing stills/video footage
- Animating layers, shape and text with keyframes
- Applying visual effects
- Understanding interpolation
- Layer masks and mattes
- Parenting assets
- Render & export your file to share
This is weekend workshop is in beta testing and as it is a crash course, faciliator Juliet will aim to fit in as much content as possible. However, dependent on participant skill level and desired outcomes we may not be able to cover ALL of the above content in time.
