Whilst creating “Portia Mache” for my solo show “Ride” at Bus Projects, Elloise Grills came by to interview and photograph me. I was just 23 at the time and instagram had yet to take over the world so photographing my process was not something I did.

Over a decade later I’m so grateful for these photographs and this funny little interview. I was young, don’t judge me.
